Qualification	1st Class B.E./B.Tech. or 1st Class M.Tech/M.E. in Mining/Civil Engineering(or) 1st Class Post Graduate in Earth Sciences.
Desirable	Ph. D in Mining/Civil/Earth Sciences related to rock mechanics/ geotechnical engineering.
Experience	20 years or more experience in research/teaching/industry, with outstanding contribution in rock mechanics/geotechnical/mining/civil engineering projects.
Limit of Age	Less than 55years(as on 01-08-2017)
Scale of pay	PB-4(Rs. 37,400-67,000);Grade Pay Rs.10,000(as per 6th CPC)
